Speaking at Different Games on Game Culture Live from PAX East 2014

Updated: Mar 29, 2019

Last year, I had the pleasure of being a part of the inaugural Different Games Conference, hosted by NYU Poly, where I presented during one of the keynote sessions on the intersections of gender and race/ethnicity in game culture. This year, I was able to be a virtual presenter from PAX East, one of the largest player conventions in the country. The fellow panelists and I discussed the new “Diversity Lounge” and activities sponsored by PAX East in response to the increasing call for awareness and inclusivity, as well as insights and perspectives on diversity and gaming. The Different Games website posted photos of the virtual talk, including yours truly (pictured here).
